  1. If you are setting the extender by ethernet make sure all your power cables and connections are properly placed. 
  2. If you were trying to connect it from a distance, change your position. Mostly preferable while setting up the network to place the extender near the router. 
  3. You then need to reset your extender.
  4. At the side of the extender, you will see the Reset or Factory Reset button.
  5. Take a pointy object like a pin or paper clip and press it on the Reset button on the extender.
  6. Hold it for 5-7 seconds until the Power LED blinks then release it.
